For trainers, centres, transport consultants and companies who want their training, assessments and toolbox talks certified by an awarding body. Setting that up alone is expensive. STLA certifies the materials you already use, so your clients can take confidence in them. Certification fees start from £5.
The networkOperators
For operators who train their own drivers and teams. STLA reviews the courses you already run, and certifies them, so the standard is clear to the people you work for.
In-house review
Driver competence card
A driver competence card for the specialist vehicle a person actually works, graded Pass, Credit or Distinction and renewed every three years. The assessment is carried out by an assessor appointed by STLA. Truck mixer drivers can follow the Concrete Delivery Professional, a structured auditable award.
The competence card
The Competence Academy is where STLA offers training, including the pathway for mixer drivers and hauliers. It sits inside STLA.
